Our Regional Ministers are Doug and Cathy Myers Wirt. This regional ministry team has deep roots among Oregon Disciples with a good deal of experience in the wider church as well. They have served together in four ministries in Oregon, California and Arizona before starting their current ministry with the Christian Church in Oregon.

Cathy’s ministries include:
long range planning for congregations
regional program services
camps and youth ministries
Reconciliation ministries
women’s ministries
& general church relationships.

Doug’s ministries include:
ministerial licensing and ordination
new church development
administration and finance
& ecumenical relations and social concerns.

Both Cathy and Doug are involved in:
pastoral care
visitation
& ministerial search processes with congregations.
